To cope with the growing passenger traffic, Beijing Daxing International Airport in the southern suburbs of Beijing will open this year, covering an area of 1.4 million square meters, equivalent to 63 Tiananmen Square, with an investment of more than 80 billion dollars and an expected annual passenger throughput of 100 million. At the beginning of this year, the main terminal building of Daxing Airport, which has taken three years of careful "carving", was unveiled. On January 22, an aircraft carrying domestic calibration equipment from Capital International Airport flew to Beijing Daxing International Airport. The first aircraft tire print was left behind.

On the morning of May 13, the first test aircraft<h-char unicode="2014" class="" font-size:medium;"="" style="color: rgb(51, 53, 60);">-the China Southern Airlines A380-from The capital airport successfully flew to the west runway of Beijing Daxing International Airport, followed by Air China A350-900, Air China B747-8, and Xiamen B787-9 in order to take off. The first "three vertical and one horizontal" runway in China was also officially unveiled. At the same time, Daxing International Airport is also responsible for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei joint transport hub, the Beijing-Ba high-speed railway from the airport below, underground, there are S6 line, Lang Zhuo intercity, intercity rail.

Beijing Daxing International Airport Expressway and the middle section of the Daxing Airport North Expressway project will be completed by the end of June. It will take only 20 minutes to reach Daxing International Airport from the South 5th Ring Road. By then, the operation of Beijing Daxing International Airport will greatly relieve the passenger flow pressure of the Capital International Airport and the traffic pressure in and around Beijing.

Located in the northwest of the core area in front of the terminal building of Beijing Daxing International Airport, the "non-main base airline business room and crew attendance building project" was constructed by CCBC.

It mainly includes comprehensive office, crew apartment and related commercial and living services, and will serve as the office and intelligent hub of Capital Airlines and other airlines in Beijing Daxing International Airport after completion.
