A prefabricated modular camping hotel for FUJINO KIRAMEKI, built by Elegant in collaboration with a Japanese design team, is located in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, at the foot of Mount Fuji. The project covers an area of approximately 16,500m2 and consists of 50 prefabricated modular units assembled into 20 individual buildings with playgrounds, petting zoos and spacious event spaces, where each hotel has a frontal view of the majestic Mount Fuji.

The modular hotels range in size from 54㎡ to 153㎡ and are divided into four types of rooms: Fujino Suite, The Grand Cabin, Deluxe Cabin, and Dog Friendly Cabin, which allows dogs to stay, and can accommodate up to six people. The Grand Cabin and Deluxe Cabin are each designed to be accessible to wheelchair users. Each building is equipped with air-conditioning, shower room and toilet. The balconies are equipped with automatic opening and closing eaves and have barbecue facilities, dining tables, hammocks and outdoor bathtubs.
